The premise is not hard to explain, but it is hard to put to words just what makes 10 Years so good. It’s an ensemble dramedy about a group of friends attending their 10-year high school reunion and examines just how far each of them has come since high school. You will recognize many famous faces in the cast, most notably Channing Tatum and Rosario Dawson, and some of my personal faves Ari Graynor and Scott Porter. The movie takes place over the course of one day, and despite the short timeline and numerous characters, the film successfully creates character development. There are no over-the-top, action-packed moments, but in it’s simplicity and sincerity, 10 Years shines.
