I haven’t done a “Two Things” post or a “Favorite Finds” post in quite some time, so here’s a special combo edition: two of my favorite finds from this week.
First thing… there is nothing better than finding a great kitchen utensil. So imagine my excitement when I found this all-in-one. Now, you only need one tool to juice a lemon, grate spices and cheese, separate and mash eggs, open a jar, measure ingredients, funnel liquid, and even hold some flowers. Just one tool… but a whole new world of possibilities.
Second thing… I am always on the lookout for a style and versatile dress that can transition from work to post-work seamlessly. Tibi has been turning it out recently, and this dress is no exception. With a drop waist, plaid pattern, lace detail, and ombre effect, the dress has everything. But it’s done so purposefully and beautifully. Love!
Tibi Lace Plaid Dress
The snow storm in New York City has got me dreaming about taking a vacation to somewhere hot and tropical. My perfect vacation consists of me lying on a beach with my Kindle… and literally doing nothing else. But since the beach is merely just a fantasy (for the time being), I can at least go shopping in anticipation for my beach vacation. And what better place to start than the perfect casual evening head-to-toe outfit. The outfit, of course, adheres to my cardinal rule of fashion: only one focal point. I think these Sophia Websters hit the mark… what do you think?
Back by popular demand…
I think the designers at Diane von Furstenberg may have heard your prayers, and I certainly did, too. I am here to tell you that the DVF silk scarf-vest is back. And in two color combinations no less. Hope you all enjoy!
